Name: The Dean’s Communication System

 

Description: The Dean’s wants to communicate the faculty/Staff and students of certain things happening in the CSIS program.  Faculty and staff want to be able to post items by categories such as announcements, meetings, student grants, awards, important dates, and have a CSIS calendar available on line.  The users must enter name and password to enter the web interface.  The site will be viewable by students, faculty, and staff.  The system validates the ID to be eligible to post communication items.   Only faculty and staff members are allowed post communications items and they decide if the item entered will be viewable by all.   The communication items will be automatically added to the site under the corresponding category.
